Doctor Visit

Azariah had his 2 month check up this week. He is actually 2 and a half months old now. He didn't really like the shots he gave him. He only cried for like a minute, but the rest of the day he was kind of sober and tired. He measured 24 inches and 12.9 lbs. The doctor said that everything looks great and that he is growing very well. Holden and I are just having a great time with him and loving being parents. He is such a joy and blessing.

Moving!

Well, incase you haven't heard, we're moving! I just started the packing process yesterday. We are moving from our apartment to a house outside of town. We are all very excited. Even though Azariah isn't old enough to understand, I'm sure he will appreciate not having to share his room with his dad's office. The house we are moving to has three bedrooms instead of the two that we have now. We are most excited about having our own back yard, and being out of town and away from the noise. It is such a blesssing to us from God. The house is owned by a family in our church, and they let people from the church rent it. We are so thankful for the wonderful people that God has put in our lives. Holden said that the unofficial date of the move will be next Monday the 3rd. Please keep us in your prayers that everything will go smoothly.

Holden's New Ride!

This is Holden's new scooter. He bought it about a month ago to drive to work. We have had
alot of fun driving it around. Except I almost crashed it into a dumpster the first time I drove it. We bought it because Holden wanted me to have a vehicle at home while he was at work. So now I have the Honda if I ever need to go somewhere during the day. Plus, the scooter gets about 90 miles to the gallon, and with gas prices the way they are, it's a pretty cheap way to get around.

8 Weeks Old Today!

I can't believe it, but Azariah is already 8 weeks old. The time has gone by so fast. I keep telling him to stop growing, but he just won't listen. It has been amazing though to watch him grow and develope. He is awake more during the day now, and he has been making eye contact alot more. And he has started smiling more often. It is so cute when he smiles big, and we can see his gums. He is still sleeping great. He has slept all through the night since he did that first time when he was 6 and a half weeks old. One of his favorite things to do is to watch his mobile. He gets so excited when we turn it on. He also likes to be put in his bouncy seat and watch me and Holden.

Date Night

This last Friday night me and Holden got to go on our first date since Azariah was born. Miss Pat (our neighbor and adopted Grandma) watched him for us. It was hard to leave him, but we had a great time. Holden took me to Chili's, which is one of our favorite restaurants. Then we went to Book-a-Million, and ended the date at Chic-fil-A for a hand-spun shake. It was nice to have some one on one time, but we caught ourselves constantly talking about Azariah. We had to make a conscious effort to talk about us instead of him the whole time. Having a child has changed our marriage in many ways, but it has deffinitly been a change for the better. We couldn't be more thankful for the wonderful addition of Azariah to our family.
